The song was first drafted by guitarist Danilo Garbe two years ago as the beginning of a concept release surrounding a maritime mystical topic. Not only is it the beginning of the a new, progressive stage in Barreleyes music, but it also represents the bands recent journey following the exit of founding vocalist Micha Peters and the welcoming of David Nelband as the new man on the microphone coherent with defining a much more fitting and diverse vocal arrangement in a grown musical setting.
